Perfect
Strangers
Theatre
Founded during the first UK Lockdown of 2020
ABOUT
Perfect Strangers was formed in July 2020 by East 15 BA Acting & Community Theatre graduates Meg Rose-Dixon and Sophie Toms, alongside Lucy Gilroy who is currently in her second year at the National Centre for Circus Arts, specialising in aerial hoop. The three met in 2017 at East 15 while Lucy was studying cert HE, but were truly thrown together by the COVID-19 pandemic two years later. During lockdown, they and a few friends chose to keep in touch via play-readings, games nights and general love and support; and from that, Perfect Strangers was born.

Having all worked in the arts since we were young, founders Lucy, Meg and Sophie know what it is to base your value as a human being on how you measure up to those around you; but we have also experienced the great potential of creativity to uplift, embrace and celebrate each person for who they are, where they are.
We believe that life is not a competition, and we all, in some way, compare ourselves to seemingly Perfect Strangers.
Upcoming projects will cover a range of issues, but always with this ethos at heart; every person has immeasurable value, every person struggles, and our imperfections are what make us great!
